I have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree and have completed residency training in pharmacy. My background in internal medicine and infectious disease provides a strong foundation for teaching complex concepts in the pharmaceutical sciences.

Over the past 7 years at Cleveland Clinic, I have precepted over 150 pharmacy students, guiding them through internal medicine and infectious disease rotations. I have also recently served as the Residency Program Director for our ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency program. Additionally, I am a guest lecturer at Barry University in South Florida, where I teach pharmacology to Physician Assistant students. My teaching approach is tailored to each student’s learning style, and I focus on applying real-world scenarios to reinforce theoretical knowledge. I also help students prepare for the NAPLEX (National Pharmacy Licensing Exam), ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed. Throughout my career, I’ve also provided tutoring in Organic Chemistry to undergraduate students and helped doctoral students master pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students across various levels, from entry-level pharmacy students to advanced residents. I have taught in both one-on-one settings and group environments, fostering an interactive and supportive learning atmosphere. My dedication to student success has been recognized by winning three Preceptor of the Year awards from Larkin University, Nova Southeastern University, and the University of Florida School of Pharmacy.
