Hello! My name is Mr. Frank, and I am a professional educator with a Bachelor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University, certified by the state of Florida since 2015. I have since worked in the healthcare field, taught anatomy & physiology at the community college level, and taught biology in high school. From presentations and graphic organizers to study guides and practice tests, I have tons of learning resources to share. I’ve had the pleasure of working with learners of all ages, K-12, and different cognitive abilities. I'm familiar with IEP and 504 accommodations and support diverse learning styles with visuals, chunked activities, scaffolded topics, a calm environment, routine, social skills, and student-centered communication. I bring a wealth of resources for any life science topic, and I am also happy to work with any materials my students bring. My teaching style is interactive and relies on frequent practice with the subject material until you feel confident. I have slides, online games, animations, note-taking guides, and lots of practice questions.
