During my first four years of teaching, I taught Intensive Mathematics to 6th and 7th grade students, focusing on foundational skills, remediation, and supporting students who were below grade level in math. For the past five years, I have taught 8th grade Geometry in an accelerated high school credit course, where I have taught over 125 students and maintained a 99% pass rate on the Florida Geometry End-of-Course (EOC) assessment. For the past two years, I have also taught Algebra 1, with an 84% student pass rate on the Algebra 1 EOC.
In addition to my classroom teaching, I have provided consistent tutoring support to students before school for the past five years. This tutoring has included one-on-one and small group instruction focused on reviewing class material, reteaching concepts, and preparing students for assessments.
