I hold a degree in Elementary Education with minors in Human Growth and Development and Psychology, which provide a strong foundation for understanding how children learn and develop. I am also professionally certified by the state of Florida to teach elementary grades. My academic background allows me to support students not only in mastering content but also in building confidence and effective learning habits.
I bring over ten years of experience teaching a variety of elementary grade levels, along with eight years of experience teaching art to students in grades K–8. This diverse background has strengthened my ability to connect with students of different ages, learning styles, and abilities. I have worked in both classroom settings and more individualized environments, allowing me to tailor instruction to meet each student’s unique needs. I have a particular passion for reading instruction and enjoy integrating social studies and science into literacy to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
What sets me apart is my ability to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. I focus on making lessons engaging and relevant while helping students develop critical thinking skills and a love for learning. My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to build their confidence and independence as learners.
