Anatomy and Physiology can feel overwhelming, but with the right guidance, it becomes manageable—and even intuitive. I help students break down complex concepts, focus on high-yield material, and gain confidence in exams, practicals, and assignments.

I hold a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Medical Sciences, with extensive clinical experience in a hospital laboratory and a cardiology clinic.

As an incoming medical student (July 2026), I bring current biomedical knowledge, firsthand insight into pre-health coursework, and exam-focused strategies to every session. While I specialize in Anatomy & Physiology I and II, I also tutor other STEM and interdisciplinary subjects, and I help students with personal statements, interviews, and pre-health application prep. I work with students of all levels, tailoring sessions to each learner’s goals and style.

My approach is concept-driven and highly structured. Students learn to see connections, understand principles, and apply concepts effectively, rather than just memorizing facts.

I’d love to help you build confidence, master challenging material, and succeed in your courses—let’s work together!

Approved Subjects

Anatomy

Anatomy

I earned a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences with a concentration in anatomy and completed a full cadaver-based human anatomy dissection. During graduate school, I tutored peers in anatomy and physiology, strengthening my ability to explain complex concepts clearly. I specialize in tutoring college-level Anatomy & Physiology for nursing and pre-health students, with an emphasis on long-term understanding and retention.
Biology

Biology

I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s in Medical Sciences, complemented by research experience at the Heart Institute at Morsani College of Medicine and presentations at USF Research Day. I have extensive tutoring experience in Biology, guiding students to master complex material and achieve top grades. My approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and long-term retention, so students leave each session confident and prepared for future coursework. Combining graduate-level training, research expertise, and hands-on tutoring experience, I offer one of the strongest options for students seeking success in biology.
College Counseling

College Counseling

I provide college counseling grounded in first-hand experience navigating competitive admissions and earning multiple acceptances, including my top-choice medical school. I have coached peers and colleagues through the college and medical school application process, helping them refine essays, prepare for interviews, and develop effective application strategies. My approach is strategic, individualized, and focused on highlighting each student’s strengths, ensuring they present their most compelling application. I aim to make the admissions process manageable, clear, and confidence-building for students.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I have a strong foundation in mathematics and earned first place in Math Olympics as a 9th grader competing with older students at a private high school in Puerto Rico. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences, and I enjoy helping elementary students develop confidence in math. Sessions focus on clear explanations, step-by-step reasoning, and building strong core skills. My goal is to help students feel capable and comfortable with math from an early age.
Elementary Science

Elementary Science

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Medical Sciences, providing a strong foundation in the sciences. I have experience working one-on-one with students and explaining scientific concepts in clear, age-appropriate ways. For elementary learners, I focus on curiosity, understanding, and confidence, using simple explanations and interactive strategies to make science engaging and approachable. My goal is to help students build a strong foundation and a positive relationship with science early on.
ESL/ESOL

ESL/ESOL

I was an ESOL student myself when I moved from Puerto Rico to the United States, so I understand first-hand how frustrating it can be to have the words at the tip of your tongue and not be able to communicate with the people around you. What makes me qualified to tutor in this area? I have excelled in my undergraduate and graduate coursework toward pre-health, all in a second language — English. My efforts paid off, as I was accepted to Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, my top-choice medical school, starting July 2026. In short, I’ve been defying the odds academically since I began college, and I am here to help students do the same, building both skill and confidence in English.
Interview Prep

Interview Prep

I offer interview preparation informed by graduate-level training with a professor who has served on medical school admissions committees, giving me first-hand insight into how interviewers evaluate candidates. Through this training, I learned what admissions committees look for, how different interview formats create different impressions, and how to tailor responses for maximum impact. I applied these same strategies and structured examples in my own medical school interviews, resulting in multiple acceptances. I help students refine their answers, delivery, and overall presence so they communicate clearly, confidently, and authentically in high-stakes interviews.
Neuroscience

Neuroscience

I completed advanced coursework in neuroanatomy during graduate school, with in-depth study of the central and peripheral nervous systems. My training included a full human cadaver dissection, allowing me to teach neuroscience with a strong three-dimensional and clinically relevant perspective. I focus on helping students understand complex neural structures and pathways in a clear, organized way that supports long-term retention rather than memorization. My approach emphasizes building a strong conceptual foundation so students feel confident applying neuroscience knowledge across exams, labs, and clinical contexts.
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

I provide personal statement coaching grounded in graduate-level training with a professor who has served on medical school admissions committees, giving me first-hand insight into what committees look for in competitive applications. Through this coursework, I learned how personal statements are evaluated, what differentiates strong narratives, and how tone, structure, and reflection influence reviewer impressions. I applied these same approaches in my own application, which led to multiple medical school interview invitations. I have also coached several colleagues through the personal statement process, helping them clarify their stories and present themselves authentically and effectively.
Sociology

Sociology

I tutor sociology with a focus on its relevance to pre-medical and health sciences education. My background in biology and medical sciences allows me to connect sociological concepts—such as health disparities, social determinants of health, and patient behavior—to real clinical and healthcare contexts. I help students develop a strong conceptual understanding of sociology that supports coursework, exams, and future medical training. My goal is to ensure students can apply sociological principles meaningfully rather than treating them as isolated theory.
Spanish

Spanish

I am a native Spanish speaker with a strong academic background in Spanish language and composition. I earned a score of 5 on the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam and have extensive experience with Spanish writing, including composing monologues and theatrical scenes. I work with students in Spanish I–III and AP Spanish, focusing on grammar, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, and written expression. My goal is to help students communicate confidently and develop a solid foundation in the language.
Volleyball

Volleyball

I have been playing volleyball since age 15 and earned a college athletic scholarship after moving to the United States during high school. As a collegiate athlete, I competed in three national championships, including two appearances in which my graduating class set school records, marking the first two national qualifications in my college’s history. After graduating, I transitioned into coaching and have worked with athletes ages 13–18, leading teams to multiple gold medal finishes. My coaching focuses on strong fundamentals, game awareness, discipline, and helping athletes reach their competitive potential.
