As a former UCLA Mathematics Student, I have a passion for Mathematics. I have taught many students in the past, including one student who I brought from struggling with Algebra to proficient in Calculus in less than one year. I have aced some of the most difficult math courses at UCLA, and will work to teach concepts-not formulas. I can guarantee that you will not regret hiring me as your tutor.

I am a former UCLA Math student. I am currently attending an online college to continue my undergraduate education, again pursuing a math degree. I have aced all math courses in high school, including Calculus (and received 5’s on both the AB and BC Calculus exams). I have taken very difficult math courses at UCLA and aced them. What makes my tutoring approach different is that I focus on learning concepts, not formulas. It’s this approach which brought one of my students from struggling with Algebra to proficient in Calculus in less than one year.

In addition to being very good at teaching math, I am also very passionate about history. I can name every president from George Washington to Joe Biden, I have written historical fiction, I often read books about history in my spare time, and I received a 5 on both the AP World History and the AP US History Exams. I aced Algebra 2 when I took it in high school; I also aced Calculus and received a 5 on both AP Calculus exams (Calculus uses LOTS of Algebra, so this demonstrates proficiency in Algebra as well). Algebra 2 is a subject I am very, very proficient in, and have tutored many, many times. You will see an improvement in your Algebra 2 performance, guaranteed.
American History

In addition to being passionate about math, I am also passionate about history, and am very good at teaching historical events and concepts to individuals. I received a 5 on both the AP World History and AP US History Exams, I have written fictional stories involving history, I can name every president from George Washington to Joe Biden, and I can give you a rundown of what happened in nearly every century of modern human history.
Bible Studies

I am well-versed in Ancient Greek, the language of the Greek Septuagint (Old Testament) and Greek New Testament, having studied it in university extensively and read countless works in Greek. I additionally have studied countless books on philosophy, theology, and scripture, alongside memorizing entire books of the Bible, with college study alongside it. I also have thousands of hours of Bible teaching and tutoring experience, having taught multiple students and tutorees.
Calculus

Calculus

Calculus was my favorite subject in high school, and I am immensely passionate about teaching it. I received A's in AP Calculus AB and BC, and received a 5 on both AP Calculus Exams. I aced one of the hardest Calculus courses when I was a student at UCLA. I have taught Calculus to one student so well that he went from struggling with Algebra to proficient in Calculus in less than one year. I first took Geometry in high school. After a while, I became quite enamored with the shapes and proofs and logical structure of the material. I have even done Geometry at the competition math level, and so I will definitely improve your performance in the class.

I aced Precalculus when I was in high school, as well as acing Calculus and getting a 5 on both AP Calculus Exams. Precalculus is essentially Trigonometry and more Algebra, both of which are subjects which are used A LOT in Calculus, which I am extremely proficient in. In addition, I have brought one student from struggling with Algebra to proficient in Calculus in less than one year. My ability to do this clearly demonstrates proficiency in Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus.

One of my strongest subjects, Trigonometry is something which I am very proficient in teaching.
