Tutoring math is something that I’ve dreamed of doing for the rest of my life. It’s something I never get sick of, something that I frequently seek, and something that I’ve often gone out of my way for, above and beyond. For me, there is no greater feeling than to know that I made a positive impact on someone’s life. There is nothing more uplifting than a student's appreciation for my guidance towards their mathematical improvement.
I have solid foundations in virtually every branch of mathematics and understand the fundamentals down to their core. I specialized in mathematics during my scholastic career, remaining at the top of my class throughout. I've received an A in every math class that I've ever taken; I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Central Florida (with a minor in Computer Science), and I received a Master of Science Degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida.
All through my tutoring career, I’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback from those that I’ve tutored. Furthermore, I have an abundance of “student empathy”, in that I find it natural for me to put myself into the mind of my student. I find what kinds of explanations work best for the individual, how to meet their needs, and how best to convey information in a digestible and understandable way. After all, I too was a student once.
