About Daniel

Bio

I am a life-longer learner. My desire to learn and experience the richness of the world led me to become a teacher. During my 9 years as a teacher I found ways to explore with my students that cultivated their own natural capacity to learn. I believe that children are naturally gifted learners, and they are passionate about it! But sometimes the machinery of "education" is stifling instead of nurturing.

Often students may feel like they are not gifted. But I believe every one of them is....

I believe that children are naturally gifted learners, and they are passionate about it! But sometimes the machinery of "education" is stifling instead of nurturing.

Often students may feel like they are not gifted. But I believe every one of them is. I want to encourage them to reach for their dreams with confidence that they can achieve those goals.

Students may receive a discouraging grade report. I want to patiently unravel the concepts and skills that they need to master in order to see those grades rise.

I believe the key to success in school is diligence and attention to detail. I believe all kids can achieve a level of success that they will find rewarding. Sometimes they just need another patient and encouraging guide on their path to understanding.
