I have spent much of the last 20 years teaching and practicing data and information modeling in clinical care and other health-related settings. I have used a variety of formalisms including relational models (SQL), no-SQL, hierarchical, ontologies, production rules, and various knowledge representation standards, such as Arden Syntax, Guideline Modeling Language, and GELLO.

I have designed and created databases to handle everything from clinical records to quality control for heavy industry.
