Having been in the entertainment industry previously, I believe that my knack for combining fun with learning brings an added dimension to my students, as well as their ability to achieve REAL results. The last three years my state standard writing scores were at a 92% pass rate. Additionally, my students all scored 3 or above on the reading comprehension tests (FCAT). This past year I was chosen to create the fiction passages that students would read for these tests, so I believe that I can bring to the tutoring situation some additional perspective and understanding that others.
