I am a college student at UF who is focused on helping students succeed in math and reading. I am familiar with courses such as AP English Language, AP Calculus AB + BC, and have a strong background knowledge in Algebra 1, II, and geometry fundamentals. I am a college student at UF who is focused on helping students succeed in math and reading. I am familiar with courses such as AP English Language, AP Calculus AB + BC, and have a strong background knowledge in Algebra 1, II, and geometry fundamentals. I have scored a 34 on my ACT and 1440 on my SAT, and am familiar with the frequently tested questions on both exams. I aim to help others succeed by identifying problems that seem difficult, then breaking the problems down into more approachable steps.
I worked at Mathnasium for 3 years where I helped students of many levels and backgrounds excel in Math and SAT math. I sit down with students who may have trouble initially understanding the question and break it down into a familiar concept, then practice with similar problems. Usually, after practicing, students feedback include the problem seeming more understandable and easier. This is my goal after each session.
I am extremely patient because I know that many of us learn at different paces and have a different starting point. I am flexible with my scheduling and am able to accommodate busy schedules. Message me with what class you're in and what's giving you trouble!

ACT Math

ACT Math

I scored a 33 on the ACT Math section, placing me in the 99th percentile, and have a deep familiarity with every topic and question type the test covers. I gained hands-on teaching experience as an instructor at Mathnasium, where I worked with students from elementary through high school age in both one-on-one and small-group settings. As a current University of Florida student, I bring a strong academic math background alongside practical test-prep strategies focused on pacing, pattern recognition, and avoiding common mistakes. My goal is to help every student walk into test day with the skills and confidence to perform their best.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have tutored Algebra 1 for over three years, including as an instructor at Mathnasium where I worked with middle and high school students in both one-on-one and small-group settings. My students have consistently improved their grades and test scores, and I am comfortable teaching the full Algebra 1 sequence — linear equations and inequalities, systems, graphing, exponents, factoring, and quadratics. I focus heavily on the foundational skills students are often missing, since most Algebra 1 struggles trace back to gaps in fractions, negatives, or order of operations rather than the new material itself. As a current University of Florida student, I stay close to the math and can explain the same concept several different ways until it clicks for a particular student.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have worked with Algebra 2 students for over three years, including as an instructor at Mathnasium where I tutored high schoolers both individually and in small groups. My coverage spans the full course — quadratic and polynomial functions, rational and radical expressions, exponentials and logarithms, complex numbers, systems, and sequences and series. s a current University of Florida student, I also frame the material with an eye toward what students will actually need in Precalculus and Calculus, which helps them see why the harder topics matter.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I have tutored Precalculus for over three years, including as an instructor at Mathnasium working with juniors and seniors preparing for calculus. Trigonometry is where most Precalculus students lose ground, so I build genuine unit-circle fluency and teach identities as things students can derive rather than a list to memorize under pressure. I know exactly which Precalculus skills get used constantly in Calculus 1 as I have taken AP Calculus AB and BC and prioritize accordingly.
