Hello! My name is Cassidy! I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida in Elementary Education and a Master's degree from the University of Florida in Special Education. During my time in college, I worked extensively with a program called UFLI, which focusing on helping struggling readers and students with dyslexia. I have worked in elementary and high school classrooms. I have been teaching English 1-4 at the high school level for the past eight years. I have worked as the department chair of the English Department for 2 years, and I have worked with curriculum specialists to choose new English curriculum.
I have experience tutoring students in English 1-4, Algebra 1, middle school math, essay writing, organizational skills and college readiness. I have worked with students who have IEP and 504 accommodations. I have a passion for working with struggling readers and writers to help them be successful! I also love working with students to help them reach their goals of graduating high school!
