I began tutoring in high school while taking AP Calculus, helping classmates prepare for exams and master challenging concepts. In college, I expanded into one-on-one tutoring for SAT/ACT math and STEM subjects, refining a teaching style centered on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I focus on asking strategic questions that help students connect ideas across topics, identify patterns, and develop independent problem-solving skills. This approach consistently leads to improved exam performance and long-term retention.
For the past year and a half, I have worked at the University of Florida Academic Resources Center, where I have completed well over 150 private appointments and assisted hundreds of students in drop-in sessions. I regularly tutor subjects ranging from Precalculus and Calculus I-III to Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Real and Complex Analysis, Proofs, Organic Chemistry, and Abstract Algebra.
