Hi,

I am Vas, a tutor who helps students master exams and skills with clear methods and consistent practice. I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in May 2025 on full merit scholarship. There, I received the CALI Award. Now I am in my LLM in Taxation at the same school. I expect to finish in May 2026. Earlier, I completed my Master of Science in Recreation and Sports Training from the Russian State Social University in June 2012. And an M.S. program in Minot State University. I also received vast work experience in many trades, retail, IT, and similar. These steps built my ability to teach. I can help with LSAT, MPRE, MBE, writing, English, career planning, IT, programming, languages, and trades like electricity or car repair. My work in computer systems and hands-on jobs lets me adapt to any subject.

In my tutoring, we start with a review of your recent work to find weak spots and an overview of your strategy. Then we move to targeted drills with official materials from LSAC or NCBE. I set up one-on-one hours once or twice a week. We mix live explanations with practice plans for the days in between. This builds speed and confidence on your own time. I send updates on progress and tips for studying at home so everyone stays in the loop. We would map questions, cover ethics cases, and break down fact patterns. In IT or programming, we would code simple parts and test them step by step. In trades, we diagram circuits or repairs with an accent on safety and instructions. Over the years, my method has helped first-generation students and working adults succeed. They came from different backgrounds but shared the goal of clear skills.

Anatomy

Anatomy

My Master of Science in Recreation and Sports Training covered human body systems and physiology. I held American Red Cross Lifeguarding and First Aid certifications, so I can explain tissue types and body functions with real examples. We would begin with a review of quiz notes to spot weak areas, then draw simple diagrams for systems like the respiratory or nervous system on paper or screen. This builds understanding for exams, and I provide questions for home to reinforce details like organ roles.
LSAT

LSAT

I scored in the top 1% on the LSAT and ran my own tutoring business where I helped students reach 99th percentile scores through custom diagnostics and drills. My method starts with a review of recent misses to find weak spots, then moves to targeted practice on logic games and reading comprehension with official LSAC materials. Over three years, this approach has turned frustration into confidence for students from diverse backgrounds, and I supplement it with a free guide on question structures to support self-study. I adapt to beginners or advanced retakers, so we build skills step by step for real test gains.
Music Theory

Music Theory

I have 8 years of musical school training in theory and performance (Rostropovich School of Music). I concentrated on theory, choir, guitar, accordion, and piano. This lets me teach subjects like scales, harmony, and practical analysis.
Psychology

Psychology

I studied psychology in college with courses in behavioral, social, and general areas. This covered how people think, act, and learn in different settings. And it gave me tools to look at cognitive patterns and mental health factors in real life. I studied the WAIS test for IQ and cognitive skills. This helped me understand how to measure verbal, memory, and processing strengths. I read and edited criminal mental health reports during law school internships. This involved linking symptoms to behaviors in legal cases. It taught me to explain findings in clear steps, like connecting low memory scores to court competency.
Reading

Reading

I help students build reading skills with clear steps and practice that match their level, from elementary to college. My JD from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and LSAT tutoring experience let me teach comprehension by breaking down passages like in tests or books. I have guided students to read faster and understand main ideas by starting with a review of a short story or article, then using questions to find key parts and details. This method has helped children and adults from different backgrounds improve focus and grades, and I adapt it to fiction, non-fiction, or school assignments.
TOEFL

TOEFL

I scored 110 on the TOEFL without much preparation. To that experience, I add strong English proficiency from my JD studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. I focus on writing, speaking, reading, and listening sections. This lets me teach TOEFL skills like essay structure, vocabulary building, and timed practice for all levels.
Writing

Writing

I wrote memos and opinions during my law school career, and I earned a CALI Award at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. I wrote multiple handbooks, songs, and even poetry. My three publications on biometrics, athletic diets, and topography guides show how I structure arguments and expand ideas on complex topics. I help students expand their thoughts and fix their flow by starting with a quick review of drafts, then using simple outlines and practice prompts. This method has helped working adults and first-generation learners write stronger essays and reports, and it works for literature, business, or test preparation.
