My name is Darryl, and I am a dedicated Mathematics and Computer Science student at the University of Florida with over three years of tutoring experience. Mathematics has always been more than just numbers to me, it is a language of patterns, reasoning, and discovery. I bring this perspective into my tutoring by going beyond formulas and procedures, showing students why concepts work and where they come from. Whether through math animations I coded myself, step-by-step derivations, or real-world examples, I strive to make abstract concepts clear, memorable, and meaningful.

I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds, from K–12 math to advanced university topics such as Calculus, Differential Equations, Statistics, Trigonometry, and Geometry. I also specialize in AP Calculus and SAT/ACT math preparation, having earned a perfect score on the PSAT and SAT Math section myself while getting 4-5s on my AP exams. My approach is grounded in building a strong foundation while encouraging independent problem-solving and critical thinking. I believe every student has a unique way of understanding math, and my role as a tutor is to uncover that pathway and make the subject more approachable and even enjoyable.
