Hello! I'm Connor! I graduated with a bachelor's degree in materials engineering and sciences at the University of Florida. I am currently enrolled in UF's graduate program for the materials engineering field. Being an engineering student for so long, I have firsthand experience on how intimidating math and science classes can be. I always make sure to incorporate this into my tutoring and aim to bring these daunting classes down to earth. I utilize lesson plans which focus on comfortable but in-depth understanding. After each lesson I make sure to give each student time to properly ask questions and practice.

I have a lot of tutoring experience as I tutored algebra during my high school years, as well as helping out my peers in our calculus and physics classes. The week before each exam in my physics class I would always provide a review session for the other students, making sure that everyone, including myself, were on the same page and prepared for the test.

I am excited to help out the students I work with in any way I can and I'm flexible to any requests or accommodations. I am easy to reach and will reply quickly. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson!

ACT Science

ACT Science

Through rigorous studying and experience with the ACT I was able to score a 32 on the ACT, allowing me to get accepted into the honors program at the University of Florida. I specialize in helping students improve their ACT Science scores by teaching effective strategies for analyzing data, interpreting graphs, and managing time under pressure. With a background in materials engineering and a strong foundation in scientific reasoning, I break down complex passages into clear, manageable steps. I focus on pattern recognition and question types to build both speed and accuracy.
Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I have a strong background in Algebra 2 through both academic study and hands-on tutoring experience. As a materials engineering graduate, I’ve used algebra extensively in higher-level math and science courses. I began tutoring Algebra during high school and have continued to support students with topics like quadratic equations, functions, logarithms, and polynomials. I focus on building strong foundational understanding and helping students develop a confidence in Algebra.
