For these reasons, I began freelance tutoring 2 years ago and began crafting my teaching ability. I ventured into this because of my skill in working with kids and teaching them. I take great pride in my work and meticulously aimed to improve each and every time I taught a lesson. I take an approach of breaking concepts down the very basics and working the student's understanding from the ground up. Additionally, I believe in repetition and example problems.
In my independent tutoring venture, the students were all high school and college aged, and the subjects included algebra 1-2, geometry, precalculus, calculus 1, and differential equations. The settings were about 80% online and 20% one on one in person.
