Hi! My name is Hristina. I am currently a senior at the University of Florida pursuing two Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Information Systems. I have developed a profound understanding of various mathematical concepts, and I enjoy breaking them down in a simple way to students. Hi! My name is Hristina. I am currently a senior at the University of Florida pursuing two Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Information Systems. I have developed a profound understanding of various mathematical concepts, and I enjoy breaking them down in a simple way to students. My goal is to ensure my students feel confident about the material by the end of our tutoring session!

My tutoring sessions are through Zoom, where I share my screen with the student. Then, we do practice problems together, and I break down the problem by explaining each step. I am very patient, and I will gladly explain a concept in detail to make sure it makes sense to the student. I emphasize a student-centered approach, where I encourage active participation and provide a supportive learning environment. My goal is not only to help students excel academically but also to build their confidence in their abilities. I am excited to work with you and help you achieve your academic goals and help you get that A in your math class!

My experience as a Learning Assistant for Calculus 1 and Calculus 2 at the University of Florida during Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 has given me the necessary skills to support students in understanding complex mathematical concepts. Additionally, my role as a Math Tutor at Mathnasium during my senior year of high school, where I tutored students from elementary to high school, has provided me with valuable insights to meet the individual needs of each student. My ability to communicate effectively with both students and parents has been instrumental in creating personalized tutoring plans and tracking student progress. Furthermore, my experience as a Data Analyst Intern at MadCow Digital, a data analytics company in Ireland, has enhanced my skills in data analysis and visualization, which I integrate into my teaching to provide a comprehensive learning experience.

Hristina taught me very well, she helped me understand the material I was having trouble with which I really appreciated.
