This is Deepak C. I finished my graduation in Biology, with my majors in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology in the year 2006. Later in 2008, I earned a master’s degree in Biotechnology where in addition to Plant and Animal Biotech, I learnt Biochemistry, Microbiology and Molecular Biology too.
Soon I qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturer-ship and started teaching at Shekhawati College in India. I also worked at Kurukshetra University as Assistant Professor before joining a prestigious PhD program at the Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, India. I continued my passion to teaching during my PhD as a TA. In 2015, I joined Central University of Rajasthan as Assistant Professor. Throughout my academic journey I have gained experience of teaching hundreds of Bachelor’s and Master’s level students in both Basic Sciences as well as in the Engineering field.
Currently, I am mostly busy with research as an Assistant Scientist (Neurobiology) at the University of Florida, and thus I miss teaching! I firmly believe, that our interest in any subject depends on how the knowledge of that very subject is provided to us! With this philosophy, I intend to put forward the best of my capabilities when it comes to pursuing the transfer of knowledge. I am very much looking forward to help students via effective ways of teaching methods I learnt throughout my 15 years of academic and research life.
I am open to inquiries and concerns regarding the subjects I teach, or the specific interests of the students that might fall in my expertise. I will be glad to help planning and scheduling lessons based on the specific needs of the students.
