Hi, I'm Marcus. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in biology and then went on to earn my Master of Science at Tulane University studying microbiology & immunology. I am currently a first-year MD/PhD here at The University of Florida.

I've been tutoring since my freshman year of high school in which I would create lessons for elementary school kids looking to delve deeper into science concepts. I continued throughout college helping students in the years below me with the more difficult concepts to grasp in subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, microbiology and so on. I enjoy creating fun and interactive lesson plans that not only spark an interest in the topic, but also are easily and readily understood. With respect to this, I make sure to remain flexible in how I teach because I understand completely that not everyone learns the same and I take great pleasure in being able to communicate the same information through multiple different avenues.
