Hey there, I'm Manny! I graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Computer Science in May 2023. I am a National Merit Scholar, National AP Scholar, I received a perfect score on the math SAT, and received high scores in both the AP and AICE Computer Science exams back in high school. My tutoring experience goes back to 7th grade, where I held a job tutoring kids in algebra and geometry at my local library through their math club. In high school, I was the president of the math honors society and a member of the CS Club, and organized tutoring for hundreds of students. I personally tutored more than 100 students in algebra, geometry, calculus, and various computer science courses during my time there. I logged over 300 tutoring hours during my time in high school.
During my time at the University of Florida, I tutored fellow students in introductory programming courses, Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, and more. I also tutored students aged 8-21 of varying proficiency in Roblox development independently, and so I have quite a bit of experience gauging the level of my students and determining the best way to proceed to maximize their learning.
I'm proficient in Roblox Lua, Java, Python, C++, and C#, and many other languages. I've been on the Roblox platform for over 12 years, and have developed on it for 10. I have worked on many different software and game development projects, including multiple Roblox games that were featured on Roblox’s blog and social media.
