Doctor of Education Experienced in All Aspects of English

I'm a doctor of education with nearly 15 years of experience in all aspects of English education. I've taught English (regular and honors), Reading, AP Seminar, AP Research, and AICE Lang. I'm currently certified to teach English 6-12, ESOL K-12, and Reading K-12 in Florida; I've also been TEFL certified, which I completed while teaching aboard. I've been an AP reader for AP Research. I've also worked extensively prepping students for major standardized tests, like the SAT and ACT.

I have a bachelor's degree in English literature, a master's degree in secondary education, a second master's degree in composition (English/writing), and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction. I've helped college and graduate students improve their writing. I'm able to help college students with their English composition and English literature courses. I'm very comfortable with MLA formatting, and I'm very skilled with APA formatting. I've proofread graduate theses and doctoral dissertations. I'm knowledgeable about qualitative research, especially phenomenological research. I've worked as a reading coach, which entailed helping teachers with their instruction and curriculum planning, so I'd be happy to work with anyone in education/teacher preparation programs, or anyone studying for the English Praxis exam.
