Hello I'm Monique, I worked in New York as both a teaching assistant and a head teacher for Pre-K. I also worked as a tutor for children in grades 2-4.
I'm great with all children, I've tutored children in reading, writing, spelling , social studies, and some math.

I've worked in the education field for over 16 years. Working with grades Pre-K-6 I've developed an understanding of how each of these young minds work.

I love to read anything from Poe to Dr. Seuss. I tend to try and find what interest a child and go with that.

I have worked with children who have ADHD and Autism and while it can be a bit much for some people, I've developed patience and learned how to work with each child. I too have children at home whom have disabilities and so I know how difficult it can be when it comes to trying to teach a child how to do certain small tasks.

I've only recently started to homeschool my daughter this past year and it was an interesting time, however I learned more about her and how to help her through her trouble courses.

I'd like to be able to help any child who is experiencing any difficulties in school work or daily life activities. If I can be of service to anyone please feel free to contact me.
