I hold a BA in Education as well as a Masters of Science in Education. Additionally, I hold a Masters of Arts in Intercultural Studies.

I have diverse experience working in the education field from pre-school to adult and have taught in New York, New Mexico, the Navajo Indian Reservation and in South Carolina. My experience ranges from working in areas such as ESL, reading disabilities, dyslexia, autism, elementary and special education, and general math as well as middle and high school...

My experience ranges from working in areas such as ESL, reading disabilities, dyslexia, autism, elementary and special education, and general math as well as middle and high school reading, language arts and SAT prep.

I also hold a TEFL certificate and have taught English in places such as Afghanistan, Yemen, Iraq and Turkey. While in Iraq I taught general primary education classes as well as English and Social Studies. During my time in Turkey I taught English to individuals age 17 to 70+.

I obtained a Masters of Reading in Education. My reading experience is in both elementary school and middle school. I planned and implemented a school-wide reading program for an elementary school which serviced students that were at risk or in danger of failure.

As a special education teacher, I have had a lot of experience in assisting students with study skills. Difficulty with study skills can also be attributed to a child's organizational skills. As such, this should also be evaluated. Additionally, I have extensive experience in assisting students with regards to reading activities in which study skills are involved.
