I'm a veteran math educator with over 26 years of experience teaching high school students in both traditional classrooms and one-on-one settings. I’ve taught a wide range of courses, including Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Precalculus, Probability & Statistics, and AP Statistics. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in Mathematics (Grades 6–12). I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology, further expanding my expertise in online and personalized learning.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with students of all ability levels—from those needing support in foundational skills to those aiming for high achievement in advanced or college-level coursework. My approach is student-centered and adaptive: I begin by identifying a student's current skill level and learning style, then tailor instruction to meet their individual needs and goals.

I’ve supported students preparing for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, CLT), advanced placement exams, and those simply trying to feel more confident in math. Whether in a classroom, virtual setting, or one-on-one tutoring environment, my goal is to make math less intimidating and more meaningful.

Students appreciate my clear explanations, patience, and ability to connect math to real-world situations. I work with high school through adult learners and strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where growth and confidence can thrive.

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I’ve taught Algebra 1 for over 21 years, and I know it can feel like a big jump from earlier math classes. I focus on making sure the basics—like solving equations, graphing, and working with expressions—really make sense. I explain things step-by-step and use real-world examples to help it all come together. My goal is to help you build confidence and feel ready for whatever comes next.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

With 4 years of experience teaching Algebra 2, I understand how challenging it can be when the math starts moving faster and the problems get more complex. I’ll help you break down topics like quadratics, systems of equations, and exponential functions so they feel manageable. We’ll work together to spot patterns and build a deeper understanding of how everything connects. You’ll leave feeling stronger and more prepared for upper-level math.
Precalculus

Precalculus

I’ve taught Precalculus Honors for 3 years and enjoy helping students feel more comfortable with new and challenging topics. We focus on understanding things like polynomial functions, trig, and graphing in a way that actually makes sense. I take time to explain each step and connect it to what you already know, so it doesn’t feel like a completely different kind of math. My goal is to help you feel ready and confident moving into your next math class.
