Hi, I’m Jeffrey! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and am currently completing the final two courses of my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, where I hold a 4.0 GPA. Hi, I’m Jeffrey! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and am currently completing the final two courses of my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, where I hold a 4.0 GPA. Over the years, I’ve come to realize that the classes I enjoyed most weren’t always the ones I found easiest—they were the ones where the teacher made the material come alive. I strive to do the same for my students by creating a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
I have over 5 years of teaching and tutoring experience in middle school math, with a strong focus on grades 6–8. I’ve taught pre-algebra for the past 4 years and have worked extensively as an ESE (Exceptional Student Education) teacher. In that role, I’ve provided one-on-one and small-group instruction for students who benefit from a more personalized approach. I also offer after-school tutoring sessions for students seeking extra homework help or additional practice.
My tutoring sessions are structured but flexible. I typically introduce topics with real-world connections or fun examples, teach the material in a clear and step-by-step way, and allow plenty of time for students to practice and ask questions. I always adjust my teaching style based on each student’s individual needs. I’m committed to helping every student I work with feel more confident and successful in math. I welcome suggestions and resources from students and parents to ensure we’re working as a team. I’m also easy to reach and quick to respond.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson—I look forward to helping you succeed!
