As a Brown University alumni, having received a B.A. in business economics with a 3.8 STEM GPA and 3.72 overall GPA while pursuing the pre-med track, I understand firsthand the requirements of a rigorous academic curriculum. Using this understanding, while working with students in multiple STEM fields, ranging from elementary math to ACT Math to inorganic chemistry, I create a personalized academic plan for each individual student, focusing on their specific needs. Furthermore, I make myself completely accessible to students' questions that may arise before or after a session.

As a beneficiary of test prep myself, while preparing for the ACT, I have hundreds of hours of experience as a student and tutor. This allows me the clarity of academic strategies that are most worthwhile for students looking for the most successful framework to make substantial improvements. On the ACT, this begins with a diagnostic test outlining a student's points of weakness and also their points of strength. I then create a clear lesson plan, forming an actionable step-by-step plan to highlight and overcome the specific difficulties faced by the student.

My area of expertise is in one-on-one personalized tutoring—both in person and virtually. I have helped students at various places in their academic journey. As a co-camp director of a summer math camp for elementary school students, I aided in boosting the kids' confidence and capabilities. As high school students prepared for the math portion of the ACT, I assisted their ability to tackle the most challenging concepts. In addition, I have worked with freshman and sophomore collegiate students in inorganic chemistry struggling to keep up with the intense Ivy League curricula. In my 8th year of tutoring, my vast experience includes students from diverse backgrounds, including tutoring for a college preparatory private school, volunteer tutoring for academically disadvantaged students, and independent tutoring.

Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

While this section of the ACT can prove the most difficult for some, you know what you're going to get. If you learn how to solve each type of problem you could see, you can solve any problem the test makers may throw at you on test day! I like to start with the basics and then work towards solving the hardest problems a student might see on test day- that way the student feels confident and prepared!
ACT Reading

ACT Reading

As someone who originally struggled with ACT reading, it IS possible to improve this section! Many students think this section is hopeless, but there are tried and true strategies that help break down the passages. I would love to share and work on these strategies with you!
Biology

Biology

Following passing the AP Bio exam in high school I pursued credits at Brown University in Biology, Biochemistry, Exercise Physiology, and Genetics. Understanding how the concepts taught apply to our body and the world provides me with a unique ability to convey this understanding to students.
Chemistry

Chemistry

As a pre-med at Brown University, I undertook 5 chemistry courses learning problem-solving strategies to tackle the most difficult problems. This expertise provides me with the ability to help chemistry students in a wide variety of subjects with varying levels of difficulty.
College Counseling

College Counseling

College counseling is a deeply holistic process that goes beyond applications—it's about understanding each student’s unique story, goals, and potential, then crafting a personalized strategy to highlight their strengths across every component of their profile. As a Brown University graduate, I bring a strong liberal arts foundation, a deep appreciation for interdisciplinary thinking, and firsthand insight into what top-tier universities seek. My approach combines empathy, strategic rigor, and results-driven coaching to guide students through essays, interviews, extracurricular planning, and more- thereby, maximizing both admissions outcomes and student growth.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

My work as a Co-camp director of a summer math camp at a private college preparatory school allowed me to engage with lots of students that learn in different ways. I worked one-on-one with the most academically disadvantaged students and helped strengthen the elementary math foundation of others in a group learning setting.
Geometry

Geometry

Whether it's proofs, similar triangles, or trig, this class can be a headache! The key is to build a strong foundation with a step-by-step formula to solve each problem. The class builds on itself so make sure not to neglect any topics. Let's build this foundation together to help you achieve your goals!
MCAT

MCAT

Excelling in the Stem undergraduate courses in an Ivy League curriculum well prepared me to excel on the MCAT. Performing above the 90th percentile on the Chemistry and Physics section in addition to the Psychology and Sociology section, I know the time, effort, and attention required to achieve success on this test. Let's get started together!!
Personal Statements

Personal Statements

Having received acceptance to Brown University and excelled in multiple collegiate writing courses, I understand the necessities of a strong personal statement. The most common pitfall for students is their tendency to "tell" about their experiences rather than "show." Together, we can focus on showing admissions not only what you have done, but also what you have learned and how you have grown!
Physics

Physics

As a pre-med student at Brown University, I earned an A in physics. Additionally, in high school, I achieved a 4 on the AP exam. My expertise in physics and extensive tutoring experience allows me to help students conquer the toughest of problems!
