With a strong background in science education, I hold a Bachelor’s in Biology/Adolescence Education (Grades 7-12) from CUNY College of Staten Island and a Master’s in Biology. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the American College of Education.
I have been a high school science teacher in the Lee County School District since 2019, teaching Biology, Environmental Science, Marine Science, and Anatomy & Physiology. I also serve as an IB Extended Essay & Internal Assessment Advisor, mentor new teachers, and contribute to curriculum development. Additionally, I am an Adjunct Professor at Florida SouthWestern State College (2023 - Present), where I teach Survey of Biology and General Biology I.
Beyond classroom teaching, I have been an independent tutor since 2019 offering personalized one-on-one support. My experience also includes middle school science teaching (2014-2019) and working as a College Lab Technician at CUNY College of Staten Island (2016-2018). I have worked with diverse student populations in classroom, lab, and tutoring settings, providing individualized instruction to support student success in science.
