My name is Max and I am a research scientist specializing in microbial ecology at the University of Florida, where I earned my doctoral degree. I have over 5 years experience in teaching and tutoring middle school, high school, and university students. I began teaching while completing my undergraduate degree and fell in love with teaching. I love teaching biology, ecology, and statistics as these have been my most useful tools in my studies. Since I am a visual learner, I like teaching by using illustrations and working trough individual tasks and problems with my students. I find that most student need to work trough problems step-by-step to really understand the subject they are studying. I am passionate about teaching and want to provide a service for a better future by helping the next generation excel in their future careers.
I have been teaching and tutoring Science related subjects for over 5 years, such as Botany, Environmental Science, Biology, and Ecology. In addition, I have expert knowledge in genetics, microbiology, and biostatistics through my PhD and Master's degree.
I welcome any students of biology, chemistry, physics, or any science subject to contact me to for information or to schedule a tutoring session. I am easy to reach and will respond within 24 hours.
