I have three occupations and love them all. I am a teacher with nineteen years experience. I have taught grades from fourth grade through college (psychology, women's studies, writing, and English). I am also a professional writer with three books on Amazon, hundreds of published articles and television writing experience. I have three occupations and love them all. I am a teacher with nineteen years experience. I have taught grades from fourth grade through college (psychology, women's studies, writing, and English). I am also a professional writer with three books on Amazon, hundreds of published articles and television writing experience. I am also a certified counselor my specialty being women's issues and parenting. I am a born and bred New Yorker and love my city, but I am working now out of Ft. Lauderdale. I love working with young people and adults and find a sense of humor is always important.

First of all, a perfect score, 800 on the GREs, a Mensa card in my wallet. I know my subject! Also, I am patient and gentle with my teaching. Aside from teaching certificates in FL and NY, I am also a certified guidance counselor with two graduate degrees in counseling and psychology. I am a professional writer with television writing, journalism and three books on Amazon. I know how to write and how to teach writing. I have an amazing vocabulary and have a special method for teaching vocabulary that has greatly enhanced my students' reading ability and grades.

I have a lot of experience as a teacher and as a tutor. I am computer literate and work with zoom sessions. You can learn in the comfort of your home. No travel necessary. I schedule your sessions, send you a zoom link and we work together on zoom. In between sessions, you would work on independent study and we will go over the assignments during our sessions. In addition, I will work with you during the sessions in whatever areas you wish to improve. I am friendly and open and enjoy the work I do. I am a true "pro" with experience and knowledge.

While I am not an artist, my younger son is a professional artist and has sold paintings at Art Basel, the second largest art show in the world. I minored in art in college. Growing up in New York City, my favorite hangouts were the Met and The Museum of Modern Art. I used art to teach literature and psychology. I took students to Art Basel and art museums every year. Before our trips, the students did projects where they studied different artists and different schools of art. I had them "discover paintings" and it was such fun to see students argue about which of their artists was the best. I would love to help you discover the amazing art and artists in American and around the world.
