I am Monica! I graduated as a Business Administrator and a specialization in Strategic Marketing at the Santiago de Cali University - Colombia, I finished my high school in a pedagogical college where I obtained a degree to teach classes in primary education in Colombia. I have lived in Florida for two years, my English is basic and I am currently studying to improve it. In college, I realized that the classes I appreciated the most were not necessarily the subjects that interested me the most. Rather, it was the teachers who made the classes more enjoyable and interesting. These teachers were always friendly, understanding, and willing to go the extra mile when I asked for additional help or clarification. I focus on doing everything possible to make learning an enjoyable, fun and effective experience. I have five years of experience in tutoring private Spanish classes for children and adults. I did internships teaching primary education classes in schools in Cali-Colombia for 4 years, which was part of my training as a teacher. At the University she gave private classes on statistics, study methods and how to expose in public in a fluid and natural way, to some classmates. I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible, therefore I welcome any resources or suggestions that students or parents may provide. I was born in Cali - Colombia, a city known worldwide as the capital of salsa and its excellent salsa schools, where we first learn to dance salsa, before walking.
