Hello All! I am Smith. I have graduated with Masters in Mathematics along with Minor in Business. I have started tutoring when I was doing my master’s and have been continuing since then. I have over 6 years of experience in tutoring Math. I have worked as teaching assistant for junior courses as well as a tutor at STEM teaching center during my Master’s Program I have always found Math a very fascinating and a very interesting topic. I have always enjoyed Mathematics since high school but during my time at college I developed my passion for helping other students understand difficult topics and provide them with a simpler approach to solve difficult problems.
I tutor students in Mathematic for all levels from Elementary, Middle school, High school and College to Adults. I offer tutoring for various Math courses such as Prealgebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus 1, 2 & 3, Statistics and Differential Equations for all levels. I also offer tutoring for various standardized test such as ACT, SAT, AP and provide techniques and strategies to solve the problems in timely and efficient manner to achieve greater results.
I always think that everyone is smart and intelligent in their own way but sometime just need someone to guide them and make them believe in themselves by showing them approach of learning and tackling the problem such that they can solve those problems with ease and confidence. I work according to each individual student’s need and ability because each student has a different learning styles and has different set of goals. My focus is more on detailed explanations of complex concepts to help the students understand them better. My aim is to try and make it a fun learning experience for my students.
I always look forward for the best moments when the student says," Ooooohhhh!" when the clouds of confusion is cleared away and the light breaks through. I just like the feeling of knowing that somewhere out there an anonymous person just figured out something that they were
