Hello! I have a Bachelors in Mathematics Grades 5-9, and have a passion for math and helping others succeed. I have extensively worked in classrooms across Broward County Public Schools as both a substitute teacher, and a student teacher in training, clocking over 100 hours in experience in public school classrooms K-12. I also have significant experience in ESE education, providing quality differentiated instruction for students with intellectual disabilities, students that are lacking in mathematic proficiency, and provide a student-centered approach in my instruction.

I have been nationally background checked, and practice patience and understanding with all of my students. My specialties are Earth/Space science, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, College Algebra, and working with primary (elementary) students. In my spare time, I was an intern for one (1) year with the 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Different Brains, writing articles regarding the latest in brain science news and assisting in content production.

I am certified by the Florida Department of Education to teach Mathematics grades 5-9 in the public school setting, and have extensive experience in creating action plans for struggling students. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in teaching Mathematics grades 5-9, and am near completion of my Master of Science in Leadership. Working as a school teacher, teaching study skills is critical to increase the likelihood of retention, and a great amount of emphasis is placed on tailoring study methods according to the individual learning style of a student to meet their learning goals
