I believe in Stephen Krashen's Comprehensible Input theory. I believe that students learn best when they're immersed in the subject at hand. As a teacher, I enjoy engaging with my student in the lesson and make discoveries together, then assess at every intersection to ensure success. I like to find the student's momentum to better help them.
