One of the most rewarding parts of my academic journey has been helping students reach goals they once thought were out of reach. Whether it's mastering science courses or navigating the medical school admissions process, I genuinely enjoy mentoring students every step of the way.

My name is Luis, and I am an MD/MPH graduate who recently completed a preliminary year in Internal Medicine before beginning my Dermatology residency. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University and have several years of experience tutoring students from high school through college.

During my own medical school application cycle, I received 15 MD interview invitations, 8 MD acceptances, and multiple scholarship offers. Since then, I have helped 40+ pre-med students strengthen every aspect of their applications, including long-term planning, personal statements, secondary essays, interview preparation, and school strategy. Many of my students have gone on to earn acceptances at competitive medical schools.

For Florida applicants, I offer additional insight, having interviewed at every Florida MD program and been accepted to four of the state's top medical schools.

In addition to admissions consulting, I tutor biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, anatomy, and other science courses. My teaching focuses on building a strong conceptual understanding and developing study strategies that students can use throughout their academic careers.

I also provide guidance with personal statements, resumes, CVs, and academic writing. My goal is to help every student build confidence, develop effective study habits, and achieve their academic goals.
