I just received my Masters degree in Economics of Education at Columbia University. I have taken up to Linear Algebra courses, Calculus II, and Probability Theory courses in Statistics. I truly believe mathematical intuition comes with dedication, practice, and fearlessness. While I move forward with plans to advance my academic goals, I look forward to helping others in their own objectives, sharing positivity and support the learning process!

My approach to tutoring is first to figure out what works best for the student--a more practice-oriented approach to a problem or topic, or one that is more theory and intuition focused. Each student has different needs and I am flexible!

My graduate studies have allowed me to take statistics, math, and economics courses in preparation for future graduate studies. I enjoy explaining my understanding of quantitative concepts to friends and colleagues and had tutoring experience in my undergraduate studies that gave me the opportunity to work with students of diverse backgrounds and needs.

I've been in the development policy field for over five years before my graduate studies and am comfortable providing intuition on how to effectively communicate through writing. In addition to excelling in high school language arts and political science courses in undergraduate courses, I have also gone through the test-taking process for the SAT, GRE, and ACT and understand very well how the values and criteria behind the United States education system in general.
