I have taught multiple Biology I & II laboratory courses at an undergraduate, college level. The material covered includes the basic information for any individual currently engaged in most biology courses/classes. My teaching style is adaptable and can cover most disciplines within the field from middle school to college level courses. My knowledge of this field includes, but not limited to, the following: (1) Ecology, (2) Marine ecology, (3) Botany, (4) Zoology, (5), Ornithology, (6)...

I have taught multiple Biology I & II laboratory courses at an undergraduate, college level. The material covered includes the basic information for any individual currently engaged in most biology courses/classes. My teaching style is adaptable and can cover most disciplines within the field from middle school to college level courses. My knowledge of this field includes, but not limited to, the following: (1) Ecology, (2) Marine ecology, (3) Botany, (4) Zoology, (5), Ornithology, (6) Botany, (7) Scientific communication & grant writing, (8) Marine biodiversity, etc.

I currently study the relationship patterns of parasite diversity and feeding ecology of south Florida's marine avifauna (colloquially known as seabirds), which examines how parasites transfer through different hosts (big, charismatic critters) from their feeding habits. The field of discipline is flexible and includes a variety of sub-disciplines, which can be applied at multiple levels such as medicine, ecology, cell biology, etc.

As a requirement for my laboratory sessions, it is mandatory for students to conduct a full-fledged experiment, collect data, analyze and interpret said data, and write a pseudo-official scientific report. I review these reports not only on the basis of content provided, but also the way the information is conveyed to the reader (i.e., if the report is grammatically sound and if the writing is concise).

The core principle for any instructor and/or educator is being passionate and patient when teaching others. From my personal experiences, a student learns best when he or she is actively engaged with the instructor, which I make a top priority. A favorite quote I like to share is, "I am a part of all that I have met" (Ulysses, Alfred Lord Tennyson). Its meaning to me is, as you learn from me, I learn from you.
