I got my certification in graphic design at my local college and currently work as an in-house graphic designer for a gemstone wholesaler/retailer, one of my main tools being Adobe Illustrator because of its diversity in scaling artwork for print and web design.

I have also taken up a degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media both of which require preliminary courses in drawing to further studies. I currently have my AS in Graphic Design at Broward College and BA in Digital Media from UCF. I've worked a little over a year as a freelancer for a screen printing company by vectorizing and separating artwork for print production. I have been working as a graphic design freelancer for about 3 years and currently as a full time in-house Brand and E-commerce Specialist for a wholesale-retail company. I manage my own social media accounts for two of my business pages and websites, creating content relevant to each demographic I market to.

I am a self-taught photographer with a foundation in macro nature photography. Since upgrading my camera equipment I have taken on portraiture as a means of maintaining this hobby and converting it into a business. I prefer using natural light sources, however, I have used light modifiers for portraiture sessions and even a mix of both to achieve my desired look. I am an active participant in my city and alma mater's photography community working with paid clients and models. I also attend conferences every few years and have active subscriptions to leading photographers courses to learn more of the possibilities of photography and light manipulation.

Excellent Tutoring in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

Renee is knowledgeable, patient and has a creative approach to tutoring/teaching Adobe CC. She understands how to teach based on individual student’s learning and experience. I first connected with Renee in my entry level Illustrator course over the summer. She was fantastic and efficient! We accomplished a lot in 1.5 – 2 hour tutoring sessions. This time around, Renee is helping me bridge the gap between my beginning skills and course requirements in Photoshop. I understand concepts with her guidance and navigate the program with more confidence. Renee gets an A+ for knowledge, patience and tutoring skills. I plan to continue to work with her as a tutor. I had some major issues with picture formatting because we sell on multiple sites. Renee was awesome at getting me 100% setup so that I could fast track my images. I had to save in different formats for multiple sites before. Now my Illustrator is setup where its a seamless process for all sites.
