I specialize in tutoring Spanish and MS PowerPoint to high school and college students as well as young professionals. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate and enthusiastic teacher to make a positive contribution.
I am a native Spanish speaker who studied that language for 14 years during my elementary, middle and high schools. I got a bachelor degree in Engineering and during my career I attended to several courses oriented to expand my vocabulary, improve my writing and my skills as speaker in public. During the last 12 years I have taught and tutored technical courses worldwide in both English and Spanish. I have a clear understanding of teaching vocabulary, grammar, idioms and phonetics for students who need to learn Spanish as a second language.
I started using MS Powerpoint in the middle of the 1990s, when Microsoft came up with the first versions of this software. Since then I have developed a great expertise using Powerpoint as a powerful tool for the preparation of presentations. Nowadays, I can teach how MS Powerpoint allows you to quickly create professional-looking high-impact, dynamic presentations, while integrating workflow and ways to easily share information.
As a tutor, I develop courses tailored to meet the specific needs of each student, optimizing the methodology of learning. My biggest challenge is to make students understand every lesson through a balance of theory and exercises, in a comfortable and motivating environment.
