As a non-native English speaker and science teacher, I understand the challenges students may face in school while learning a new subject. I like to get to know each student's barriers and interests to facilitate individualized learning plans. I like to use everyday examples, my students can relate to, in the classroom to explain concepts. I'm an expert at applying what is learn in the classroom to real life scenarios, which makes learning fun and applicable to all careers. I will adapt lesson plans based on my students learning styles so our time together is productive and meaningful.
