Hello! students,, I have devoted nearly three decades to teaching and inspiring students in the sciences. With 29 years of experience teaching high school science and a strong foundation in pre-medical and biological sciences from college, I bring both academic expertise and a lifelong passion for learning to every tutoring session. My teaching journey began with a love of understanding how the world works—from the structure of a cell to the complexity of chemical reactions—and it continues today as I help students build confidence and mastery in these subjects. I am currently certified in Biology and Chemistry in the state of Florida, and I take pride in helping each student connect challenging concepts to real-world applications.
In addition to my classroom experience, I have also tutored students through Sylvan Learning Center, where I worked with learners of varying ages and ability levels. This experience strengthened my ability to tailor instruction to individual needs, whether a student is preparing for an exam, catching up in class, or striving to excel beyond the curriculum. My approach to tutoring is patient, encouraging, and student-centered. I focus on breaking down difficult material into clear, manageable parts while promoting curiosity and critical thinking. I truly love science and enjoy seeing students discover that same sense of excitement and accomplishment when a concept “clicks.” My goal is always to make learning both effective and enjoyable—helping students not only improve their grades but also gain lasting confidence in their scientific abilities.
