I have a degree in Elementary Education and experience teaching in a variety of settings, but my favorite way to teach is one-on-one. What I like about tutoring is that I can monitor student progress closely and modify lessons immediately as needed. What I LOVE about tutoring is getting to be there for that "Aha!" moment, when a student suddenly understands something they have been struggling with, or realizes that they can do something they thought they couldn't do. I've taught people things they swore to me they could never do, from math and chemistry, to study skills, to knitting and swing dancing. I will do my very best to help you succeed, too!
