I have an M.S. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University and a B.S. from Florida Atlantic, and I've spent the last 10 years working as an AI engineer, data scientist, and technical lead. Most of my day-to-day is applied AI nowadays: building LLM apps and agent workflows, and adjacent features like tool use and vector search. I've shipped production systems and published research in NLP and logic, so I can help you connect what you're learning in class to what companies are actually building.
I've been tutoring one-on-one for over five years with all kinds of students: high schoolers writing their first Python programs, undergrads and grad students working through algorithms, data structures, and machine learning courses, and adults changing careers or upskilling into software and AI. I'll figure out where you are and we'll go at a pace that works for you. If you need help with an assignment, data analysis, backend and frontend design, machine learning concepts, I am definitely your person.
I like to steer my sessions to be more hands on, I don't do hour-long lectures. The tutoring session is a conversation, first and foremost. We'll code together, talk through problems out loud, and break the overwhelming/intimidating stuff (recursion, vector search, data science methods) into pieces that actually make sense. In 2026 anyone can use ChatGPT or Claude to put something quick and dirty together that works, but understanding of "how", and the ability to maintain AI-generated codebases, is the hard part. My goal isn't just to get you through the assignment, although sometimes that's just what your situation requires, and I'm happy to meet you where you are.
