Hi! I am a Biology and Neuroscience double major at Nova Southeastern University with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students of all ages. I am well-versed in the sciences, including biology, chemistry, neuroscience, and math, but I also deeply enjoy English, expository writing, and technical writing. My cross-training across various age groups and disciplines has taught me the value of fostering a supportive, low-stakes learning environment where students feel comfortable engaging with challenging at an accessible pace. I strive to meet my students where they are, whether that means building elementary foundational skills or mastering introductory-level biological concepts. I look forward to playing a role in my students' growth, success, and confidence in their education!

My teaching experience spans over 5 years across a vast range of ages and learning environments. In high school, I worked as a teacher's assistant in a preschool supporting students ages 1-5 and volunteered as a tutor for elementary school students ages 8-12. In college, I have worked as a General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry lab assistant, teaching students various laboratory techniques and reinforcing foundational scientific concepts. I have also briefly worked one-on-one with an ESL college student to help her develop her essay writing fundamentals. I have now been working as a research assistant in a neuroscience lab studying Alzheimer's Disease for nearly four years, where I have trained most incoming students on research procedures, laboratory techniques, and data analysis.
