Hello! My name is Nicole, and I have a strong background and passion for working with children and supporting their learning and communication development. I have pursued my education with the goal of working in the field of speech-language pathology, which has given me a strong foundation in language development, communication skills, and individualized support strategies. Through my academic training and hands-on experiences, I have developed patience, adaptability, and an understanding that every student learns differently.
I have several years of experience working directly with children in both group and individualized settings. For three consecutive summers, I worked as a camp counselor for a youth group of children ages 11 to 13, where I supported learning, social development, and positive behavior in an engaging and structured environment. Additionally, I completed an internship at a microschool, where I worked closely with students in smaller classroom settings. This experience allowed me to assist with lessons, provide one-on-one academic support, and help make learning fun, accessible, and meaningful for each student.
Across all of my experiences, I have consistently enjoyed helping others and creating positive learning environments where students feel confident and motivated. I value kindness, encouragement, and hard work, and I strive to help students not only improve academically but also build confidence in themselves. Whether working one-on-one or with small groups, I am committed to meeting students where they are and supporting them in reaching their personal and educational goals.
