I am Andrea, a college advisor with many years of experience working with high school students. I have tutored many private and public school students on how to identify and get accepted at the college that is the perfect fit for their needs. I have extensive expertise in securing college funding for students and their families. I provide individualized support to the specific situation and student’s goals. Not every student is destined for an Ivy League university. I review each student’s situation individually to tailor a plan that will help them achieve their college goal, optimally beginning at the start of high school. I have a proven track record of helping students build strong college resumes; selecting extracurricular activities, leadership roles and volunteer opportunities that will be positively received by prospective colleges. I assist students in securing relevant internships, jobs, and activities that will best enrich their applications. I look at class selection, deciding on the ideal recommenders and crafting compelling essay/personal statement that will best highlight the student’s character, values, and goals to the college admission team, optimizing the student’s chances of acceptance.
