Hi everyone! My name is Dr. Dania. With a strong foundation in education and leadership, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my role as a tutor. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Florida International University, followed by a master’s degree in Education Leadership from Barry University. To further enhance my ability to lead and support both students and educators, I completed my doctorate in Instructional Leadership at the American College of Education. These academic achievements reflect my deep commitment to lifelong learning.
Over the past sixteen years, I’ve served as a dedicated math teacher, working with students across various grade levels, primarily in middle and high school. My leadership roles have included serving as a math department chair for two years and as an assistant principal for six years, where I helped guide both instruction and school operations. I also bring specialized experience as a behavior specialist and dean, as well as a resource educator focused on GED preparation—all roles that have allowed me to support students holistically. Additionally, I’ve been tutoring students one-on-one for the past five years, tailoring instruction to meet their individual needs and goals.
As a dedicated tutor, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel seen, heard, and empowered to succeed. Teaching is truly my passion, as reflected in my long-standing commitment to education, including more than 20 years of teaching elementary learners in Sunday school. I believe my strengths—being positive, passionate, and a good listener—allow me to connect with students beyond the academic level. I’m confident that my blend of instructional expertise, leadership experience, and heartfelt dedication will help each student grow in both knowledge and confidence.
