Being a teacher has been a goal of mine since high school when I was the member of Future Teachers of America receiving the first Paul Bell award. That goal was partly realized when I was a tutor at Miami Dade Community College and Florida International University as a student myself. I have always found ways to teach subjects in a way that students can grasp by understanding the students' learning style and adapting my teaching approach accordingly.

The journey to teaching continued after working many years in the business field where I have often trained co-workers on new skills useful in analyzing business process, performance, and position. The result of this training was streamlined, simplified and optimal analysis and reporting of business conditions. Also, this allowed me the opportunity to mentor business colleagues who have less tenure.
My dream was realized when I taught college courses at Palm Beach State College as a professor for two years. Each group of students that I have taught have improved their knowledge of the subjects I taught them based on their feedback. I make their learning experience personalized by learning their names and something about them that will help me be effective in giving them the best learning experience in my classroom.
One of my great joys as a teacher/tutor is seeing my students grow through their experience with me as their teacher.
