I've served as an instructional leader and global practitioner at the elementary and middle school level with 25 years of public school education. Currently I serve as a Reading teacher and provide intervention services to ELL, SWD, lowest quartile and regular education students. I've tutored for 10+ years with elementary, middle, high and college students. My approach includes direct instruction for students. I target the weak areas/skills of students by remediating and providing students with opportunities for specific and direct teaching. I provide high yield strategies for Reading, English, and Writing thus increasing one's knowledge, skills and abilities for the designated subject areas. In addition, I have an expertise with test prep strategies (GRE, GMAT, and SAT) for choosing the best answers for the test.
