Hello! My name is Hassaan W, and I am currently in my fourth year of medical school. From a young age, I developed a strong passion for teaching, which has shaped both my academic and professional pursuits. In high school, I worked at the Kumon Learning Center, teaching Math and Language Arts to children from kindergarten through fifth grade, helping them build foundational skills. This early exposure to teaching inspired me to continue tutoring throughout my academic career. At Rutgers University, I tutored peers in Chemistry and Organic Chemistry, further developing my ability to explain complex concepts in simple, accessible ways.

I was thrilled to be accepted into medical school at Nova Southeastern University, where I expanded my teaching role. I excelled in subjects ranging from Biochemistry to the electrophysiology of the cardiac system, and took every opportunity to assist my peers in understanding these challenging topics. During my second year, I served as an Anatomy Fellow, teaching first-year students, creating practice questions, and developing PowerPoints to reinforce key concepts. My academic success continued with high grades, passing USMLE Step 1, scoring 265 on Step 2, and honoring all but one of my shelf exams. In my fourth year, I took on a Peer Mentorship role, where I regularly met with students to guide them on study strategies, high-yield topics, and practice questions.

My goal is to help medical students excel on the USMLE board exams.
